I used to play online quite a lot and it was good fun. Its been a couple of years now since I last played but I might give it a go again before it ends, although im probably seriously lacking any skills now xd.

A little early I think. After 2 years of leaving online untouched I still found hundreds of users to play with today. I guess it's time to move on and time for a sequel. I'm not very excited about Rising's hack n slash style and Raiden though, I'd rather wait for MGS5 and play with old Snake on a wheelchair or something haha...

Why did they shut down online..... I know a new MGS is coming out but that will suck and If it has online features they will probably suck aswell, They should keep MGS4 online for people who like the REAL MGS

I enjoyed MGO on and off, mainly off because of all the cheaters, but I wouldn't ever refer to Online modes as 'real MGS'. It's just the same old online murdering with an MGS paint job.

Yeah I wouldn't mind if they removed online in the Next MGS5 and just focused on single player, I would love to see a really really really long story to keep me entertained for a while and maybe bring back the Injury feature thing back from snake eater because I really enjoyed that

From what I've seen of 'The Fox Engine'... it will probably be a JUST CAUSE 2 kind of map with multple places to infiltrate. And that scares some people away from MGS.
