Yeah was discussing it in the Pub topic.

The look, the gameplay and the feel of it has just completely changed for the worse imo.

I know I wasn't or would have been crazy about the game much anyway, but now I just don't know.

They really should say it's a spinoff imo, more so now since someone else is making it.

One good thing I guess is that we finally got it confirmed that Quinton Flynn will be doing Raidens voice after all that worry about not hearing if he will be or not.

Also Platinum Games made Vanquish, I knew it looked familliar the cutscene bits! They reminded me of Vanquish.

Oh and the bit where Raiden destroys a Metal Gear Ray? I can see that being a quick time event just like in Vanquish.

Hell, just like in Vanquish he slices it in half it seems haha.

Also I wonder if it's still true that you can complete the game without killing anyone.

Seems pretty hard to believe. XD

Surely you can use the stun blade by pressing sqaure.

That looked terrible. It'll shift one hell of a lot of copies simply for having the words 'metal' and 'gear' in the title though.

I'm seriously disappointed after the first trailer promised so much.

Who knows how it'll play out now.

It seemed fast paced and you being surrounded by mutliple enemies.

But yeah, I suppose there could be a possibility still.

Metal Gear can't be about hiding in a box and Tranq darting people forever I guess.
I think, as a fan of role playing games, it's nice that they've blatantly said 'This protagonist is a *****in' nutter, have fun slicing and dicing like the cooking channel'. I look forward to it. Hopefully they'll be some story relating to the Metal Gears we know.
After all, I love being able to just destroy everyone who opposes me in a game, and Metal Gear never really offered that as a Sneaking game. And if we've learned anything from crap like MGO and Metal Gear Solid 4, we've learned: "If you wanted it to stay about Sneaking forever, you're out of luck "

It's going to be interesting how they slot this into the storyline, but it just didn't look like the MG universe at all. That was some crazy ***** going on, none of which Raiden was doing in MGS4

I forgot to say, I don't think it's Vamp... I mean, It can't be, right? He died in 4 and this is set after. I've seen people saying 'I knew vamp would be the villain' and 'its odd to see vamp with a katana' on other sites.

I have played every MGS that was ever on ps2 and ps3, but this is just bad in comparison.

I mean why does Raiden have to slice his enemies in small pieces? Didn´t he learn anything from Snake?

I don´t know if I am going to get this. This game doesn´t deserve the name MGS.
