i didn't prefer the twin snakes graphics but i like both, i did like the ability to go to 1st person to shoot.

well its now confirmed, but sadly it wont include mgs1 just mgs 2, 3 and peace walker, due this november.
why they didnt do the first is surprise to me, maybe they will release this as a stand alone later?
either way be good to revisit the others

The Silent Hill collection is having the voice acting redone, but hopefully i dont think they'll do it for MGS

The voice acting in the twin snakes was good, but not the same level of quality as the original release.

Interesting to see how it turns out, but i have been waiting a while for this one, gonna download it as soon as it appears on the store

They've explained King_Nothing that there really isn't much benefit in upscaling and touching up MGS in the same way. To bring MGS to life in HD would require much more work, probably just from the ground up as the original elements are just such a low spec. Basically a entirely new remake. That's why we aren't seeing any ps1 games getting the HD treatment all around. Kojima himself has said to fans MGS 1 would just take too much time away from other projects.

Twin Snakes broke the visual/anaimation style of MGS so that couldnt even be used as some people are suggesting either, Kojima was not really involved in the matrix direction that took.
