Something missing (SPOILER) (only read if you have completed MGS2 and MGS4).

After I completed MGS4 yesterday and thinking how great all the Metal Gear Solid games have been I thought back to MGS2. Remember Fortune? you could not hit here with bullits? as she had some kined of thing on her so bullits would just fly past here?.

At the end of MGS2 LiquidOcelot took it of her and put it on him self so no one can shoot him well where did this bullit stopper come into play in MGS4? I can't recall seeing it or hearing about it in MGS4.

It didn't.

Then again it didn't need to, nobody shot at Liquid in MGS4. In fact nobody COULD shoot at Liquid in MGS4 so it was pretty redundant.

Well, if you think about it, he never got hit by a single bullet in the entire game... perhaps they just chose not to mention it, a bit like they didn't mention the total collapse of the Metal Gear Rex hangar in MGS1, and we don't see the old Escape tunnel either.

I realised at the end that her ability to deflect the rockets after her device had been removed or deactivated wasn't explained.

I was gonna make a thread but meh...

It was sorta inferred. While the majority of her "power" came from that machine thing not all of it did. Hence why she could still deflect the rockets as she did have telekinetic powers (like Mantis). it was Liquid who thought ALL her power came from the machine (hence his statement of "You have no power that teh patriots didn't give you).
