Snake? Snake?! SNAAAAAAKE!!!

Ah, Metal Gear Online. One of the only online games where you can spam your team mates, sit in a cardboard box and set dirty-sexy-porno-traps all at the same time.

In fact, Metal Gear Online is one of my all-time favourites. Immensely satisfying and delightfully evil, it's the only online game (aside from Warhawk) which I have been utterly unable to sell.

Myself and a few regulars here in the Metal Gear Solid forum are pining for a regular fun night. But to make it successful, we need you to come back to Metal Gear Online. Or even pick it up, it's £10 at CEX or much, much cheaper at your local indie game store.

So - what's the plan?

Step One - MGO FUN NIGHT

Step Two - THAT WAS AWESOME

To put it simply, send your mates here. Get on twitter with the hashtag #MGOisBack, post the link to this thread on facebook or drop everyone on your friends list a message to tell them to come to the next fun night. The more people we get involved, the more epic the events will be.

You can even take your own photos during the night and stick them in our MGO Photo Gallery.

We're also keen on getting involved in official tournaments like Survival, so keep an eye out for plans.
