Realy looking forward to the HD collection myself but that's because I've never played Peace Walker before, I actually don't understand how the people who have played every game can be so excited because it's just the same game that you already own and updated graphics don't count because they were good enough on the PS2 anyway.

Haha true though I suppose but I just am looking forward to it. 
Although with Peace Walker I'm not that bothered if I'm honest... Probably because that only came out two years ago, whereas MGS2 and MGS3 are the good old games. =D

If you mean on HD Collection then I have no idea how it is, but on PSP it was up to 6 players.
I don't really recall trying competitive out that much, I think all the fun nights we did on it was mainly co-op.

I'm sure we'll all have a game sometime, although it will mainly be co-op again I'd assume haha. (Which aint a problem, gotta love co-op!)
Also just a random mention but I got Operation Flashpoint Red River on Thursday.
Still not played it and probably wont do until next Thursday haha.

I just meant in general what's it like because I realy know nothing about it, haven't watched any videos etc but if you never played it then I guess you wouldn't know either. Cos I can imagine it being closer to PS2 MGO than PS3 MGO in terms of gameplay, ie, just simpler.
It is all gonna be about the single player and the coop though.
A part of me feels the need to try and get platinums for them all just because it's MGS and that would be a fun and challenging thing to do but the other half of me is in protest at that idea since technically I should already have them if the originals had had trophies, heh.
What games are people actually looking forward to this year? Cos when I think I can actually hardly name anything off the top of my head apart from MGS HD collection. There was just so much that came out at the end of last year that it's like I personally atleast just don't need to get anything else for a long time because this backlog of awesome games isn't going anywhere anytime soon

I can't really think of any either, I do have some games on pre-order but no idea if they actually come out this year or not.
There are some I've heard of like Max Payne 3, which from what I've seen looks good and tbh, I aint actually seen a lot about it haha. (Also I've never played a Max Payne game too.)
Plus it's Rockstar, maybe another to pick up based on their latest games like Red Dead Redemption and LA Noire which were good.
I think this year for me will just be about the games in September to November, basically the ones that come out every year.
Oh just remembered another game that I pre-ordered which does come out this year, and that is Dirt Showdown.
Not much information on it the last I saw but I'm keeping an eye on it for now.

Nah seriously I'm just looking forward to playing MGS2 and MGS3 again.
Although I will go for the trophies no doubt probably haha. =P

As for me MGS HD FFXIII-2 Catherine Max Payne 3 Mass Effect 3 Uncharted: Golden Abyss Wipeout 2048 Tekken Tag Tournement 2 Resident Evil 6 Jak and Daxter HD Lollipop Chainsaw and some maybe's include SSX and The Last of Us if that's out this year.
