Level 3
So erm... If any of you saw my tweets over the last few days, you'd know that I tried backing up and restoring my PS3 data to a new HDD... Which continually failed...
Anyway, I put the other HDD back in which thankfully worked after I heard it does and doesn't after putting another in.
So for now, I'm sticking with this one until I dare try doing it again... Maybe... Haha.
I did notice after putting my other HDD back in that a lot of themes were corrupt, so maybe that's what caused the restore to fail?
Anyway apart from that, doing well and I hope you all have a good Christmas. =)
If mine was failing over and over I think I'd probably get Plus so I could send the none copy-able saves to the cloud thingy, then sync with the server for trophies in case there's any on console that haven't sync'd yet... then just put the new drive in fresh and get everything back after.
EDIT: But I'm sure someone I know said their 1TB harddrive didn't work in a PS3 so they used it in a laptop... but this was ages ago. Maybe PS3 does support now.
