ok, if you're a MGS fan, then no doubt you've seen Hideo Kojimas countdown page, about a mystery game which has sparked speculation that a new MGS was in the works...as well as the various other teasers. Well the latest teaser pretty much confirms it, flashing an image of Big Boss:

Some think the logo on the berret points to a possible Metal Gear remake (the original title on the MSX2 released in 1987), while there are rumours going around that there will infact be 2 games shown at E3, one being a sequel to Portable Ops for PSP, and the other being MGS5. There were also some scans featuring a character resembling Raiden, with some sort of headband covering his eye. It could be anything really. Could even just be a 'susbsistence' type add-on game for MGS4. The anticipation is killing me lol. As much as I'd kill for a Metal Gear remake with HD graphics, I highly doubt it. What do you guys think it could be?

haha, got me excited too. I just want to know what it is already. Man, I'd kill for a Metal Gear remake!

My thoughts exactly. Big Boss was the protagonist of Portable Ops, correct? And the hints of Raiden plus MGS5 could mean a sequel to MGS5. Or something like that. It's a big 'ol mystery that'll be quite underwhelming when it's announced.

I just hope whatever it is, it's a good stealth game!

I'd love a remake of the original Metal Gear. Of course, I'd love a 'Subsistence'-d MGS4 too. Perhaps both

An original Metal Gear remake would rule ..and Id say on the cards

I mean MGS 1 was remade for the gamecube ...imo should have been 

remade for the PS2 .

But a remade Metal Gear on PS3 would rock

Actually, with the way the remake for the Gamecube turned out, I'm happy it wasn't on the PS2. It makes it easier to ignore lol.

Also, I prefer the presentation of the original MGS as well as the voice acting. It's a much more solid package imo.

That's why I think it'll be underwhelming A lot of PS3 owners are very excited over something that might turn out to be nothing all that big. Although I might be wrong and it's MGS5 and a new Portable Ops.. which I really hope it is. Although MGS4 was pretty much the perfect ending to such a good series. So yeah. I'm rambling

People are saying from translating the article that it's actually yet another Big Boss clone. That would be a total cop-out.

It's like a sequel to a B grade movie if true.
