If they were to now just take Twin Snakes and put it in HD, my thoughts would be, "Why didn't they do it for the HD Collection?" =\
Plus if it was to do with Nintendo, then they could have released it on the Wii U...
Haven't thought of that console for a while... Oh that name... XD
But erm anyway, a complete remake of MGS1? Can't say I'd mind, feel free to do the same with the others too haha. XD
Remake Metal Gear games too though!
Edit: Actually maybe to do with Silicon Knights... But you get my point.

I'm done with it all now, I'm ready to move on.
I can't be the only Metal Gear Fan who feels this way right? 4 was the end of the series for me. Snake should have blown the top of his head off like one of those bins you stamp on.
Yeah, I have to say I do, and yes I also think snake should have died at the end of 4. It would be tragic for something to be set after that chronologically. Peace Walker filled a void, and I was all set for Rising to tell us how Raiden became a cyborg and how he rescued Sunny from the Patriots, other than that there are no plot holes (loads of retcons, but meh) and nothing else needs to be told.
Admittedly I was all for a game where you play as the Boss, but if you think about it, you as a player need to play the rookie and as such the old hand needs to guide the rookie player via the codec and as such you introduce a backstory to this person, which could then be told in another game etc etc, and you end up with countless prequels. Personally I dont like prequels, mainly for what they do to the often overlooked plot in a series of video games (God of War is about to take a turn for the worst IMO).
As for the slightly more on topic HD remake, nah, I dont like them. Where do you draw a line with them? On the PS4 will they 'need' remaking again? You can't trudge back through a developers back catalogue and remake everything again and again. Thats a discussion for another time though, all we really know is that the 25th anniversary soon.

Naomi said it could happen any time and if it were up to her he'd be in quarantine now (When she examined him before the Octopus fight). He was gonna turn into a walking Biological weapon and take out millions, I just assumed Snake would have killed himself and that's why he left. Obviously if there was a way he could live and not kill millions he could take that, I just thought there wasn't.
It's not like he's real, the story of Snake has a chance to send a message of true sacrifice but instead they leave it to out imagination. If he'd have killed himself in game it would have been the ultimate atonement for all his sins. But suicide is frowned on big time because of how you don't get to clean up your own messes and right your wrongs, the weak man's way out... but not when it's you or millions? Right?
I dunno, I am just happy to never play a MGS game again at this point.
