Re: wait & see...

Big Boss tells Snake at the end of the game that Naomi finished analysing the new strand of Foxdie just before she died and she had discovered that the new Foxdie was replacing the old mutated strain in his blood-stream. Big Boss then went on to say that the new strain would eventually mutate, but Snake wouldn't live that long anyway because of his shortened lifespan.

Though if you're talking about Snake's inability to kill himself before he learns all of this, it seems to me like Snake was too afraid to actually go through with it. The whole game was about showing Snake at his most fragile state, both mentally and physically.

Besides, pushing a gun into the back of your mouth and pulling the trigger doesn't seem like the easiest thing to do.

Re: wait & see...

Well yeah obviously, I'm not saying it's easy for Snake to kill himself, I am saying it'd be easy for Kojima to have him do it. but chose not to out of fear. They need to learn from Rockstar and start killing all their protagonists to prove a point.
Kill em all, I'm bored.

i got one word for you... VAMP!! how old was he? if it kept him alive , maybe the stuff he took , or what about BIG BOSS , solid snake killed him twice ( mg & mg2 solid snake ) , he came back , i think he has many battles during his life & maybe future games may fill the gaps mgs pw ends on a cliffhanger , also what about liquid ? why was he so bitter ? why did he kill miller? (kaz in mgs pw ) remember liquid pretended to be miller in mgs1 , maybe mg liquid could happen or liquid & solid as young soldiers fighting together , i know this , solid snake will return

Re: wait & see...

imo I don’t think he will remake it, the reason for its success was the fact that it was made in THAT time period, you couldn’t crouch, aim in first person, you didn’t have the controls that you do now, so to remake a game with so much available to you to put in is not easy, remaking a major success title is such a risky thing to do, I believe the maker of FF7 said the same thing and that’s why he won’t remake FF7. It was a game that was awesome to play in that time period.

imo I think kojima can still be involved with snake but from a different point of view, maybe play the game as a newbie soldier and as the story goes on he finds traces of snake that helps him along the way but he actually never gets to see him? It’s just an idea but MGS is not dead. You can guarantee that my fellow fans.
