hm metal gear badger? well mgs rising is a spin off id like to see mgs5 with raiden only focused on T.E.A. tactical espionage action speaking of tea will mgs rising have online mode do you think?

I guess there'd be a new sneaking mode for Raiden, although probably with a bit less sneaking.

Oh yeah I forgot to say before....

Someone said either in this thread or another that Rising may be about rescuing Sunny. But this can't be true because AFTER rescuing Sunny is when he was given a robot body.
You can see this on the MGS Database from playstation store, under the entry for "Area 51" I think it was...

thats odd maybe a little bit at the start will show him rescuing sunny put the story couldnt be about it

Raiden rescues Sunny, then later he is captured by the patriots and "subjected to experiments" that give him the robot body. It then says that the Paradise Lost Army (Big Mama's group) helped him escape.

Although I think in MGS4, Raiden says "They asked me to do this (finding Big Boss' body) in exchange for Sunny's Location".

I'm confused now We'll have to see what RISING makes of it all.

It's not totally out of the question that we will play as the MGS2 Raiden at the start of the game. I can see that possibly happening, and then seeing the transformation in to ZA NINJA.

i think its that he was trying to rescue sunny then was captured and given his high heels and then rescued by paradise lost who knew where sunny was somehow

No I don't think that's right, because Sunny was stolen some time between MGS2 Tanker, and MGS2 Plant. That is why Olga is even working with Solidus, because the patriots stole her child.

Sunny was given nano machines that were programmed to kill her if RAIDEN died. Hence Olga's last words to Raiden "Live!...You have to....*headshot*"

At the end of MGS2, Snake asks Raiden about the child and then assures him, "We'll find him" (guess he assumed male at the time).

I'd say that Rising is after Sunny is safley in Otacon's care, so I think finding Big Boss' remains (was solidus in actuallity) and rescuing Sunny are in the past, and MGS4 is in the future. So that leaves me thinking RISING must be where Raiden learns his skills as a Scout/Ninja.

ANYTHING could happen in MGS. We didn't even know about Raiden before MGS2 was released, and that was the main part of the game
