I hate to always be comparing this game to Mario Kart, but it's so easy.  One thing I feel could be added to this game would better....BATTLE MODE!

Don't get me wrong, I love the races.  But Battle Mode would be some good stuff.  Not sure if a full, 12-person room would work with it, but definitely 4-6.  XP could be rewarded along with it too as you already get XP for using weapons in races.  The weapons don't transfer as easily to a battle as Mario Kart's (and I'm talking Mario Kart 64 here) did, but they're pretty damn close.  Green would be useless unless it always locks in mine/slime form.  Although, the star in Mario Kart could be used for ramming/invincibility, so incorporating that with the green weapons could work out.

This idea just totally popped in my head as I was eating a bowl of Lucky Charms.  I was talked into buying this game because a friend told me it was just like Mario Kart, but better.  Until I remembered about Battle Mode, he was right.  The racing totally beats MK though.

agree with this totally.However, this game's been out for a year, so unless there's a MNR2, we're unlikely to see this.People have managed to come up with cool "It's a track but it's not" ideas...Some people have tracks where the aim is to play games & NOT finish at all!

I agree that it's unlikely.  But it's not impossible for the developers to do.  It wouldn't be much different than adding expansion maps for Call of Duty.  There just really isn't a good reason for them to do it unless it was to promote a brand new game rather than just an add on.  Although, I could easily see people paying $10-$15 for it.
