As most of you know I only got this game about 3 months ago. I fell in love with this game in every way shape and form. I love the creation features of the game & I love the racing (even though I stink at it)

But lately there has been a lot of crap going on with Top mods & karts.  It is really getting disturbing & I am losing that warm fuzzy feeling I used to have for this game.

People begging in the modspot to download my kart/mod & do it ALL DAY & NIGHT!  People sending emails PLEASE DOWNLOAD my stuff, D4D anyone? People using multiple accounts to get top mods and karts & people stealing others work & calling it their own. (It just happened to a friend of mine) And the best part.....most of the ones that these people do it to suck or the people who beg all day are proud they got it up there when it is below average quality. Then they get nothing but hate comments anyway. Am I missing something? Let me beg & boost to get my mod or kart up there when I know it is not that good & then bask in the glory & get nothing but disrespect. SERIOUSLY.....What The...? I actually heard someone say "I got my mod up there legit.....I just asked people to download it"  Are you for real? I just got a lolipop cause I asked for one at the bank drive through!

I really think it is time something get "fixed" with this. It is getting waaaaaaay out of hand & if you have been following it in the past few weeks, Im sure you have seen it! It's almost turning into a gang war!

When I first got this there were some amazing mods & karts up there & there still is a few that show up when the right people make it happen or should I say the boosters let it happen & take a break!

I was like wow, it would be so kool to have a top mod or kart up there. Now, I could care less. I will NEVER beg or boost or cheat to get up there because there is no feeling of accomplishment. I know with the amount of people creating it is a tough job but the entire last few weeks just sickens me.

I really wish the "higher ups" would put an end to this & it is possible since I heard the game has changed quite a bit with updates & fixes since its release.

It is sad to go to the modspot to discuss how horrible it is to see the new crap mods & karts instead of how awesome they are.

I agree with everything you say LinkuelNinja, but one thing. The begging and boosting, sort of what you have to do to get up on the Top Mods. The game has no system that allows you to show that you have new stuff and would like people to check it out Modnation 2 I hope.

I too agree with what you say, I have been playing and creating for around a year now and this sort of stuff has been going on for as long as I can remember. I recently received a message from a player asking me for d4d which I like always refused, they then went onto say how bad my creations were and they didn't want them anyway!.. Modnation doesn't need these morons.

Nobody or rare people even check the "Newest creations" in publish and share because most are not special and stuff. Anyway getting in top mods-karts equally being the main attention by asking to DL or being worse by boosting. Since i never liked people who floods chat and (gameroom as well) i'll be always a huge and meany person with cold words. At least there are 3 type of players in MNR: racer, creator and lamers.

this will never ever stop... ive commented on this subject many times before due to the fact it will ALWAYS happen and lagit creators will ALWAYS be pis*ed off about it...

but..... if this game did not have the d4ders there would be no community atall.. as probly only 3% of people would have enough conviction to keep trying and keep trying to reach the best they can...  the rest will give up n say... too hard. will never get mine noticed.. then they sulk... and refer to d4d.. as this gives them that pretend notice of achievment..!!

Now this is my view..  from there point of view -

not everyone is as skilled as others but still they put all their effort into making the best mod/kart they can.. spend hours and hours on it. and love it. (many peoples opinion is - its pants)   but for them its great... so they go out into the modspot with there shiny new kart .. and quickly check to see if any1s downloaded yet... mmm no! soo.. they do sum drifting around the modspot ring... few minutes go by... still no 1 has downloaded it... 3 days later.. maybe 2 dl's  then they see d4d on the top left of the screen.. whats that mean.. download for download!!  YESSS  please download my kart as ive spent ages on it.. and ill download yours. (giving them the lil happy feeling they wanted) 

And soooo there it starts.. and so on. ..... and so on..   and soo on   and so on and so on and so on and so on!!

LOL ProbAlex.

This has existed close to the beginning of the game.
I think it got worse when they first did the bump to the Create XP.
I still haven't gotten the Create XP trophy. XD
