BTW, testing anything offline in modpsot won't prove anything as Modspot offline is even more laggy than online, as game is constantly trying to connect to servers that aren't there, making it even more jerky than normal.
if you sign out of PSN it can't try to connect to anything, you will have to contend with AI bots though.
I mean it will happen on profiles that aren't connected to the PSN, game will lag in Modspot much worse than when you are connected. When I played, I had 2 profiles as I used to play offline with a mate and wanted to keep story at same stage, one is on my normal user and other on a non connected one.

1 - ModSpots, online or offline, are not laggy.
Not once they've finished loading.
I auto-sign in to PSN on my profile and the game doesn't try to automatically connect in ModSpot, it will just fail once during the first big loading screen then stop until I push the Connect to Online button.
2 - I do my testing on a variety of time trial courses. It's the easiest way to replicate results, for obvious reasons.
I mean if you want proof badly enough, I can take pictures of karts with wider frames or taller roofs clipping through certain objects on tracks if you really want me to.
I don't see what difference it will make to the thread.
