Well in that case i agree with the OP...it was a free plat!

There would have been a "sense of accomplishment" if the OP had earned all the create XP from his own creations....

you know what ??? this was a case where no matter what UFG did.... they were going to miff people off , given that they cannot change trophy parameters , what other option was there ?

Everyone is quick to say "Too serious", "Just have fun"........but can't you ALSO have fun without the trophies/achievements? It seems to me there are more who complained about NOT getting or being able to earn a award/achievement/trophy than there are those who have no isssues with a "You earn it, you deserve it" train of thought.

So just because some may not like somehting, don't think we are "too serious" and don't have fun with our game(s).

I agree with everything you posted.

What i meant by what i said was have fun, enjoy the game, enjoy getting the trophies & unlocking stuff, enjoy coming 1st or last (!) but people who complain about the casual mode been added ("waa!....i completed them already, its not fair that everyone else can do them on "easy" waa!") & the create XP change......all i can say to them is its just a game.

Essentially the create trophy's gone down to requiring 12.500 points pre-update, as the points have been multiplied by 20. I now have 330k points, and i'm level 29. 170k and i'm 1/3 of the way to 30 from 29. Must've been a grind for the guy who had world's most race exp I tell you.

It would only be a free plat if every one got it. We didn't though, you still had to have a high number of downloads before it would pay off. If I had known this was going to happen, I wouldn't have deleted a few published mods a few weeks ago (I needed the space).

This. The fact that your current Create XP was multipled by TWENTY is a joke.

Hell, I would've preferred not to get the free plat. I was confused when I turned on my game and suddenly got 3 trophies so I came around to look.

With the combination of this and the 'casual' mode, it basically is a free platinum.

Hell, all you need is what was formerly 25,000 Create XP to have 500,000 XP TOTAL and get the Level 30 trophy too.

For me, challenging achievements/trophies/whatever is fun. Games that are too easy = not fun.

I just picked up 3D Dot Game Heroes and got a second job anyhow, so the amount of playtime toward this was going to go down either way.

You can criticize me for not having 'fun' but what about all of the people who complained? They complained because they wanted trophies. UFG is a developer that spoon-feeds the crybabies. It's as simple as that.
