Please stop getting on Mark. He has a hard enough time trying to start, manage, and overview all the activities and events on here and all we do is complain about it.
It's just one week. Don't get all angry over it. I don't want this game to die before school gets out. I still have tracks I want to have patience to make.

Hot Lap: I gave the racers what they were asking for. I asked them in a recent forums post AND researched their own recent posts to find their 5 favourites. I put them in Hot Lap.
I have never trolled. Never will. I have always given MNR 120%.. I have always done my best to include all of the community in all aspects of the game and it's events.
There have been naming convention conflicts or tracks removed causing issues with tracks getting placed in Hot Lap lately. I place them in 4-5 days BEFORE the blog comes out.. I can not control it if a track get kicked out or back. This process has never changed. It is only recently that there has been an issue. The process and my process are the exact same.
I am surprised to hear a report of MrDufus and RockToonz not getting posted in Top Tracks. This is news to me. I never heard that. Never witnessed that and my log shows them as being run as planned. If it was not posted into TT on a Monday I could understand reasons why. Other than that I am surprised that if this was the case all week, for two weeks that no one would have let me know. I hear about things like that in less than 24 hrs.
You didn't like the idea this week of Top Tracks. I get it.
I hope I have now explained everything in question.
Let's put this aside and go on with celebrating the 1,000's of other great things about MNR during this anniversary.

Like I said, I understand why you did what you did for Hot Lap. I guess I just missed the part where you explained your reasons for the Top Track picks. Either way like Pwner said, it's only one week, and I really don't have any right to complain. Just trying to offer my feedback, if you can take it that way MNSD.

Top track choice that was there at the very start (We don’t like them but they WERE the top tracks when the game released) – check
Tracks that we all know and some of us love (because they were, for most of us, the first tracks we raced) as hot lap tracks – check
Double XP week (who doesn’t like double XP?) – check
Including the above because it makes perfect sense as it’s the anniversary of MNR? – check
Not understanding why people are complaining (but would IF it wasn’t the anniversary!….it’s only one week people!) – check
Another tease of the DLC sale & me getting one week closer to being able to leave a “I told it was going to be amazeballs!” as a comment on the blog – check

So after 2 years, would you rather race tracks that were there when creators were just learning or would you show the community some the more recently praised tracks from creators that have mastered their craft? And since the beginning there still far better tracks than those...

And you'd think after 2 years they'd understand that the Hotlappers like to compete amongst themselves for who has the best line not who can glitch it the fastest. Hell Lloyd started a sticky long ago for the bugged tracks.

Everything else I agree with but seriously, new (GREAT) creations are made everyday. Those that are still here remember where we came from. And because of that, they make so much better creations. Honestly, that should've been the theme of the last one. This one should've been to celebrate the players that have kept this great game going. Just my two cents...
