Seriously??  Drift Paradise for Hot Lap today??

To knowingly put up a track on Hot Lap where people can easily cheat to get glitched times, only shows an UNCARING attitude about this game.

That only re-enforces the reason I don't play this game very much anymore

More than that! Just take one look at the top tracks for this week. LOOK AT THE TOP TRACKS.

• TIKU TIK MOUNTAIN
• UNIMITED DRIFT
• ANOTHER UNLIMITED DRIFT TRACK

Do the morons that run this game even think about what they're doing anymore?? THIS "OLD SCHOOL" S*** IS FOOLING NOBODY, THESE TRACKS ARE UNIVERSALLY REGARDED AS POORLY MADE AND OVEREXPOSED. If you really wanted to get something good from 2010 you really should have done at least some research, goddamn. An UFG week on Hot Lap would be harmless compared to the atrocity that was the current selection of Top Tracks, but the idiots that run it had to go and make it offensive by picking A TRACK THAT WAS ALREADY KNOWN TO BE GLITCHABLE, again, showing lack of research possibly stemming from laziness and, as C_Wilson points out, simply not giving a f*** anymore about this game.

You're right ponce, this isn't "2 years of ModNation week", this is more like "troll the loyal players week". Maybe even "flush the players out of ModNation to make room for the upcoming LBPK week"

What you said was exactly what I was thinking, minus a few strong words, I just didn't want to waste a lot of time spelling it all out for people that probably don't care enough to read it, much less address it.

I saw the Top Tracks post on Modnation Monday and thought the same thing as you.  It is presented on the blog as if they are classics.  LOL LOL LOL LOL a million times!

Well said man!

Having those tracks “tongue in cheek” or not, doesn’t matter, it’s an insult to ALL good creators everywhere. Those tracks gained notoriety simply because UFG were so lazy that they took 8 MONTHS to fix a broken top tracks section that was simply stuck on those same tracks endlessly. And, if you ever see Top Tracks when you DON’T change the tracks manually, you can GUARANTEE that Tiki Tik and Drift Points 100,000 will always be in there somewhere.

What concerns me is that “Top Tracks” is supposed to be just that, it’s supposed to be a headline banner saying to new players fresh in the modspot “Hey, look over here, this is what you can do with this game, isn’t it AWESOME?”

But no, instead, this week, they’ll come in and go, “wow, this game is a POS, is that the best that can be done?”

Add to this the fact that at least 55.5% of ALL players in the game (conservative estimate) only download what they see promoted in the modspot (witness the BBM’s ghastly yet incredibly popular corporate propaganda programme) and you should realise that this is NOT in the best interests of the game, joke or not.
