Hi all,
Yesterday I bought a very snazzy 51 inch plasma TV. It has amazing picture quality when playing on the xbox, watching films, tv and on the playstation xmb but when i booted up MNR it switched from 1900x1080 to 1280x720 (or something similar) making it really grainy and not HD.
I have changed the game settings for the PS upscaler to fullscreen but it remained bad on MNR. Very bad on the black bits and not top bad on the coloured areas.
some of you guys 'n' gals must have a plasma and so im asking is there anyway to get a good picture quality or is MNR to bad for this?
Please respond soon..

I don't think you can increase the resolution on this game - MNR's resoluton is 720p maximum at the sofware level. Some other games, like GT5, can do native 1080p, but this isn't one of them.

Well, when I first switched to a larger TV I also found the image on ModNation a little bland but after tweaking some settings on the TV everything got better. I just don't have any idea on which settings to change on a plasma TV as I have a LED one. You may have to go to Display Settings on your PS3, than to Video Output Settings and follow the steps on the screen.
Hope that helps
BTW - I just checked and my video brightness option in the game is set at 100

Thanks guys, after unplugging my cables and putting them back in again it now works! No speckles and a nice HD look, my tracks never looked so great! ; ) Thanks for your help!
