Yet, nothing has still been done.
I'd prefer a not so abundant silence and acknowledgment that things are being fixed rather than hidden responses in the blog that nothing really comes of.
The last update from UFG was last monday about the patch. If they have no news then they wont post anything.
What do you expect?
Monday : Patch is getting tested and will be released soon.
Tuesday : Patch is still getting tested and will be released soon.
Wednesday : Patch is still getting tested and will be released soon
Thursday : etc etc etc

I'm going to have to agree with the OP. I can't believe that UFG think they're going to release a single patch that fixes everything!! Who asked for that? How about fix the little things that should be easy to fix . . . . like don't load the modspot after every race and then ask us if we want to race again!!! how about ask us if we want to race again and if we say no THEN load the modspot . . . . it's a matter of a sequence of events . . . . btw didn't anybody notice that in the beta?? oh yeah they were all too busy making spiderman, ironman, and mario, which were all up on launch date. Once the little things are fixed then tackle the big things like load times. Load times can be reduced dramatically with good programming. Take Call of Duty, for example, those maps are WAY more detailed and take a fraction of the time to load, shoot! I can put in the COD disc and be playing in less than a minute, for Modnation I have to put in the disc and wait 3 times as long just to hit Start and then wait again!! This game has such great potential it's just frustrating that things that should have been found out and fixed before beta OR during beta have not been addressed. I'm more patient then the average person so I'll wait, but I don't blame anybody who is done waiting and have moved along either. Just my two cents!

You have to keep in mind the fact that UFG is a new gaming company. Modnation Racers is their first game they have ever made. Yes there are a lot of bugs that need to be fixed but they also have other things they are working on. For example, I just found out that they are making another game that is coming out on September 21, 2010. Here's a link if you want to see for yourself.

They probably have more people working on this due to the fact the due date is two months away then people working on the modnation patch. It will take more time if they have few people working on it.

Just stop, complaining, for the love of God.
You people are like overgrown babies.

I agree with you but I doubt what you say will stop people from complaining regretfully. It's sad that people complain about a great game it is just because a few minor issues.

I don't think it is so much this game per se....but as of late it seems like developers have gotten into a habit of releasing games too soon and full of bugs and glitches.
Yes, they will fix it, but at the same time, as long as people are willing to accept mediocrity and continue to make excuses for the devs, we will keep getting games released before they are truly ready.
I love the game and play it daily, but yeah, they need to get a few things fixed.

Honestly the only thing I find wrong with the game is the 500,000 xp you need to reach level thirty and the 250,000 create xp glitch trophies. Now I'm not a trophy hunter but those are some really tough things to do and many would agree of course there might be those you disagree.
The loadtimes I actually love. Maybe you need to do something inbetween the loading, the loadtimes allow that.
The hot lap glitch, the said they would start banning those who used it. Fair enough in my mind until they can fix it.
Lastly the seat glitch where one seat is left in the create kart.
Really that's all I can see wrong with the game or at least those are the only problems I have ever experienced and I don't think much of them since there is so much to do with the game as is. People who are complaining just have to learn patience. After all if you saw my other comment there making another game that is due for release in September.

You act as though they owe you for having bought their game. They don't. You're not doing them a favor by buying it, they're doing you a favor by making it. They didn't have to make it and you didn't have to buy it.
So I guess all the profits go to charity?
