Oh my god, that looks ugly, I mean, seriously, that may just be the ugliest looking racing game I EVER did see! ![]()
The trailer is totally uninspiring and basically looks like they took all the best parts of MNR and LBP and dumbed them down a few notches for "da kids". Seriously, this game is going to fail, if that's their announcement trailer then they are in BIG trouble, lol.

i think this game could be faster and better then you guys think ..... the tracks on the previews are 100 times wider then most modnation tracks which makes the drifting look real slow ..... watch this 10 second clip of two drifts ,, they look like you can drift pretty quick, and with some skinny cool shortcuts and other small paths people make , i think this game will feel faster then you guys think !!
check out 5:07 to 5:19 on this video .. pretty nice looking drifting IMO.. and he even drifts wide for the bubbles ,, if he took the corners closer it would be real quick !

TBH this discourages me a little bit. I guess I'm not sure what to expect, nothing will replace MNR. I'll still give it a fair shot.

!!!!! No material editing in 3D, no buy.
Apart from that it looks like an MNR clone +battle.
Even the platformer LBPs had props. I would highly doubt that they would go without material editing. A lot of the stuff in the trailer looks like materials. I imagine the trees are just one of the preset props.
Even if LBP had props, they never were and never will be the spotlight. Materials are the way to go, which is why I'm mad. From what I've seen the material editing will be there, as the road style and basic geometric shapes. Without the corner editor and decent controls, making stuff is going to be hard.
The thing that sucks is that if they spend lots of time on rendering the LBP-1-2 props in 3D, they might not take enough time for the materials. Oh, and logic. That's going to be fuuuuuuuuun.
If at least Mm was working on it, I'd feel better.

I am dissapoint. The bounce pads are basically megajumps, which means NO physics involved.
Also, it's zetta slow, and finally, No hints of material editing, since it's so simple.
The only redeeming point of the lack of material editing is if the game isn't so damn restrictive about adding alt paths / advanced editing / height shifts so AT LEAST the track can be crazy.

I must be watching a different vid to everyone else as all i can see is potential ... Plus we all know how the official tracks in mnr are, the stuff we make now bears little resemblance to them so i dont feel they show what is possible by a long shot..
