This game is officially a dead man walking with the departure of Mark, which took away what little support it had. If this game provided you with any memorable experiences or has otherwise brightened up your life, share it here as we mourn the loss of an one-of-a-kind video game.
Thanks to ModNation Racers I've had gallons of fun playing it, thanks in good part to the dozens of players I've met throughout the game, each unique and special in their own way. There are too many players to list here, but many of you should know how much I loved certain players I've met in this game.
Not just that, but MNR has helped me expand my horizons by turning me into an otaku - no, really, the multitudes of brilliantly-made anime mods and karts made by the even fewer but highly talented japanese creators have sparked a significant interest in anime, manga, and some other video games as well.
ModNation Racers. No other kart racing game offered such combination of powerful, yet intuitive creation and sharing functions, which, despite its flaws and loopholes, still worked like a charm.
RIP ModNation Racers

Same Angel. I had only watched no animes. Since i started playing Modnation, i had intrest in watching anime, and after a year, once seeing the likes of Haruhi, Miku, Konata, and countless Touhou mods, I started watching anime, and have watched 50+ including some questionable ones (forum posts show that

So long and thanks for all the fish!
Anyway.....
MNR isn't dead, yes the Wilson is gone, yes MNR Mondays Blog/Forum posts are gone & yes hot lap & top tracks/karts/mods won't be getting updated with new creations BUT....the game is still there, the servers are still on & there's still people playing!
"way to overreact" indeed.

Maybe the top tracks etc will update, but i have a feeling it'll be stuck (or at some point will be) at whatevers the top 3 at the time.
As there's no longer any MNR Mondays blog posts showcasing new creations the top karts/mods/tracks now (more then ever) will belong to the boosters anyway. ![]()

MNR isn't dead. Unless Mark is taking the servers with him...

Mark leaving only means we have to work as a team to make this work.
