lmao @ dat logic, then throw 'em all in! Diddy Kong racing, Crash Team Racing, Sonic and Sega All-stars, Arton Senna Kart Duel, Bomberman DX, Cartoon Network Racing, Chocobo Racing, Wii Family go-kart racing etc... Hell lets throw in Ben 10 Galactic racing too! Because clearly since they're all part of the same genre they're all applicable and can be interchanged in that little formula of yours right?
EDIT: Add Southpark Rally too... Just cuz...
I'm curious: WHAT part of LBPK reminds you of MNR to make a comparison like that besides making tracks? Actually, a track making feature would be a given even if UFG wasn't doing it...it's part of the LBP style to do so...
Oh, go ahead, if you've played those karting games. I haven't so I can't say anything about those extras. Take their aesthetic, controls, sense of speed, sound, and music and compare and contrast if you will.
And LBPK reminds me of MNR because they're both karting games with play, create, share aspects. Their only differences being the 'feel' of both games, and the lack of the ability to modify karts and sackthings indepth. So far, LBPK feels sloppy.
I'm still wondering why I had to answer that question when so many people compared Mario Kart to ModNation Racers and you seemed fine with that then.
-_- What would be the point if you've never played them?
I've been telling people MNR is so different from MarioKart since MNR's release. Were you around then? And you just said the same thing again. I don't like going in circles unless I'm racing and rather not waste my time.
Remember this, (and you can quote me on it too) LBPK will sell because of its similarity to MarioKart and its differences from MNR. I guarantee it.
One final question: Did you fill out the feedback surveys for the LBPK Beta?

I don't know what to think about LBPK. Part of me says the track editor is so much more powerful and great, but then the other half of me hates the style, lack of mod/kart customization and the poor racing set up. I'll probably buy it, but not immediately. I'll wait for one of the GOTY editions that comes with heaps of dlc and is cheaper... that is if LBPK gets a GOTY edition. ![]()
For now, I think LBPK will never replace MNR for me.

Actually working on making a revised 10 reasons. I feel that I actually jumped onto a bandwagon with all the hate I had subconsiously stored toward Karting.
Hopefully it's a little less brash.
I still stand by my point about comparisons. If you've played those other karting games and found that Element A in this kart racer was better than than Element B in LBP Karting then you can make that connection. I just wouldn't compare LBP Karting to Modern Warfare 3.
Now that's a bit of a stretch.

We can simple not buy it, discouraging the company and making them go back in the kitchen and prepare something eatable

LBPK doesn't deserve GOTY.

That, never works. Ever. It never has, and it never will. More often than not, it just makes a game company discontinue a series entirely.
Then we'll be left with Mario Kart and sub-par knock offs only, and we know Nintendo will never allow its consumer base to get creative and make their own things! X.x
