Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone could tell me why the name of my character was censored.

I made a Mod of Kefka from Final Fantasy 6 and decided to share him with the world, when I found out that his name was censored after I went to manage my creations. Since "kefka" isn't a bad word, I figured it must've been copyright infringement in some way, but then I realized that the most popular mods are always things like Mario, Iron Man, Sephiroth, and a lot of things UGF doesn't own the rights to.

So does anyone have an educated guess why I can't upload this mod without it being called "*****?"

Kefka means brush in slovak.

LOL yep.. definitly need to tweak down the censor filter a bit .

I find it silly with PSN's cencorship, WAY to many words are cencored, and you cant even have a option to turn it off!

You cant even write Connect without it getting cencored to ***nect. apprently Con is very harsh word.

And cencoring every bad word in all kinds of languages will utlimately leave everything cencored, as there is always a bad word that isnt a bad word in another language.

god i do wish whoever came with this cencorship thingy could shoot himself at times.

I remember noticing the Kefka censoring.  I was looking for one and found *****.  I was like... "wait, Kefka is censored?"

Someone uploaded it as Kefeka, but you can always go with Kefca or something.

yeah I had to up load my butthead mod as buttthead

as for my Volcanic r i mm i n g track it only gets censored sometimes, when I race the track it comes up with full name, but if I am managing my creations and such, it comes up censored

If you have seen the map of Tassie, you may guess why its censored. Sorry, I am only joking, I just couldn't resist
