If you have the retail copy of a game, and then have a Digital copy of it on the same system, will the creations transfer over?

And then Sony cuts digital copies down to two PS3 and people wonder why... I feel bad for people that have more than two PS3s in the same household and now have to purchase extra copies of the games just because of this people that "share" games... (I know that you can activate and deactivate the system, but that's a pain)
On topic: I have the disc and the digital versions and all content is transferred between both without any problem (same not applicable to LBP Special Edition and Digital version
