@rjzp24 WintTejada was complaining about using a level 2 while in third/fourth.  Depending on the track/lap that may or may not be "playing for first". Also, I'm just nitpicking here, because your skill rating is higher than mine and you've won more races than I've even raced, but  your win/finish (872/2342)  is less than 40% and win/race percentage (872/2472) is about 35%, which some wouldn't consider close to 50%.  Personally, since the minimum of racers in a xp race is four, I'd say anything over 25% is good.

@prob_alex  From my experience, shields can prevent sideswipes, or my friends just miss when I shield.  Does anyone know for sure?  Also, rear view mirrors can help prevent getting sideswipes, but sideswiping the back of a kart is still too easy.

One thing to keep in mind, sideswipes are just as effective against your opponents as they are against you when in the same situation, so to me it is fair.  In any case, the thread seems like it's gone its course twice now, so can we agree to let this thread die & stay dead?

Coagar I said this week my winning % is 50%. I'm starting to win more so in time my overall winning percentage will increase.

Re: Sidewipe Survey

Win percentages will never increase due to the lack of loss tracking.

Re: Sidewipe Survey

The only stat you have to track your losses is the Races stat. The problem is the fact that the Races stat is always increasing, whether you win or not. This also makes it unreliable for tracking losses.

Call me crazy, but why would you need to track losses to determine win percentage?

Now there's no Losses number on your profile  and I'm no certified mathematician but as far as I know  Races - Wins = Losses.  But that doesn't matter anyway since Wins / Races = Win %

You sure you're not a certified mathematician? You sound pretty headdy with those equations. LOL, nah I agree with that math.

Actually you're all wrong. Win percentage = (wins/races)*100. As for the original statement I don't think its actually worth the bother of disproving. How did you even get onto this topic?
