The beginning of the end seems to be official now. :xCry:

Re: They're pulling the plug!

My thoughts exactly, ripper. Although I'm surprised they let modnation have a blog for this long.

This is indeed the start of the end of MNR. Hopefully there will be a sequel in the upcoming years.

Re: They're pulling the plug!

Well, well, well. Why am I not surprised at such an announcement?

Because the true beginning of the end was not too long ago, with the release of Road Trip. The devs knew all too well that a port of the game to another system with some added features (some of the were desperately requested by some track creators, even!) and some crippling issues (framerate being the least of them, the real biggie was the COMPLETE ABSENCE OF ONLINE PLAY) would NOT sell, failing to pander to even the established userbase. Yet, despite all those problems, said port still managed to see the light of day, only confirming that the devs have officially stopped trying to pretend they still cared about us and made it blatant that Sony is in a mission to sabotage this game, forcing plyers off of this and into LBP Kart.

Congratulations, Sony and devs. You have officially proved that uniqueness among your video games is verboten and that only cash cows are allowed to live. Now the only hope we have of seeing this game in the future is pretty much nonexistant.

03/2011 - 08/2012. These were some memorable 17 months.
This is the end, my only friends. I'm moving on to other things, as ModNation has given me all it could give.

Somebody is in denial.

Are we celebrating the 2 year anniversary or the death of MNR?

Re: They're pulling the plug!

You guys are crazy. Just because they are moving it from the blog doesnt mean anything. As long as the people who play, continue to play, it will be up. Most people dont even go on the blog. I know I don't.
