I'm just surprised the blog posts lasted two years. Sony should be thanked if anything.

But yes, the day will come that the Wilson is no longer needed, that hot lap tracks are stuck on a loop of UFG created tracks, top mods/karts/tracks are stuck....at whatever they are when the dark day comes.

And then, sometime after....the servers are pulled.

But hey, news on the interwebz is that the world is going to end this year....so meh!

You don't see Gran Turismo, Uncharted, or any other big sony title getting weekly posts on the offical ps blog but somehow ModNation Mondays has survived two years of weekly blog coverage it's pretty amazing tbh. A first in a series game from a pretty much no name developer managed to get 2 whole years of blog space. We've been spoilt to keep it for so long tbh.

Anyway, we saw this coming, but the game will survive for another 6 months at least. Quoting from the Ancient Greek play, The Persians, "As long as there are people, the city stands".

I think this game will last as long as you guys want it to. Sure, maybe the dlc will stop, maybe nothing new will continue from Sony or UF, but its up to us, and more specifically you awesome creators to change and keep this game fresh. As long as you guys continue to support this game, it will be around and awesome. I'm not going to lie, im getting Lbpk but it doesn't mean its going to replace this game. And you guys should know, it can't replace this game.

When you say pulling the servers... do you actually mean that you wouldnt be able to race online etc.....

WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! if that happens i will personally find head of sony and Suplex His ass! TWICE!

if all the hours i put into this game are just removed then my ps3 is going out the window.

Alex, these guys are.over reacting. they arent going to shut down the servers for awhile. Like i said a game on ps2 still has its servers on. Chances are, it will still be up in 8 years.

I dont know if you guys knew what I meant by 8 more years. Since Socom is about 10 years old now, their servers are still up. MNR is 2, so in 8 years, that will make 10 years. Just trying to make my point the servers shutting down in 6 months or whatever is completely made up.
