I have noticed some threads and posts on this forum with a few angry people saying that UFG "dont care" and "are doing nothing to fix the problems" so here are some little updates taken from different posts and the U.S blog.
"On behalf of the entire ModNation Racers development team we would like to first thank everyone for playing MNR since its release. We are aware of issues the community has experienced playing MNR and are diligently investigating them. We take these issues very seriously and apologize if they have affected your experience with the game. I will update the community once we have more information to share. Thank you for your time and your patience." (2nd June)
For anyone who hasnt played the game lately due to the online problems
"Yes we deployed some server side fixes and changes to the algorithm on Tuesday and Wednesday."
"We deployed changes to the XP Race algorithm everyone should be experiencing shorter XP Race lobby wait times and Races that avg. at least 6 to 10 players. In addition we have deployed some server side stability fixes I will update the community again when we have more information to report."
Tired of the same tracks coming up in XP races?
"Yes we plan on having user made tracks in XP races in the future. Have some more pertinent issues to deal with first, but its going to happen."
"We changed the XP Race algorithm today you will now see all 28 tracks in XP Races."
Thinking of cheating?
"Anyone who glitches the Hot Lap from now on will be banned"
In response to the same 3 mods been the top rated
"No petition needed we are working fixing the algorithm for Top Mods, Karts, and Tracks"

"I think you REALLY need to add the ability to gain XP when playing with friends"
We definitely want to allow Friends to compete in XP Races and XP Series together too. We’re working on it!
Where is that loading patch?
It’s on its way! We’re improving the flow in several different ways — it’s not a trivial change. And we want to make sure it’s all seaworthy before it sets sail.
On the hot lap cheat glitch...
We love playing Hot Lap too. It’s a great way to measure yourself against ModNation’s best drivers — but only if it’s a level playing field.
We’re testing a fix for this problem and hope to roll it out ASAP!
About the region lock...
We are looking into how we can guarantee quality of service across regions in races that have twelve custom Mods and Karts racing and pummeling each other on dynamic tracks. This is not as simple as it seems on the surface, but we’re aiming for it.
- Loading Times
- Rubberbanding AI
- XP Races and Series with Friends (have a friend slot or something)
- Alter the 250k create xp because unless you make Mario or a trophy track (yay mnr has had the lbp syndrome since before the game even came out here in the US) you don’t stand a chance at getting create XP
- Fix connection issues
We’re looking into all of these things…
