Well I'm not sure if you know this already, but you have to actually play to get the trophies...

Color: Yellowish-Orange
Level 1
Fireshot: A ball of fire that burns people like the Ember ModBot or a fire panel does. If you push Square and down on the control stick at the same time, it can be fired backwards.
Level 2
Fire Ring: creates a ring of fire around your kart that burns anyone who touches it. Lasts for 10 seconds.
Level 3
Fire Storm: Drops tons of fireballs around the track that stay there and burn for 15 seconds. Can damage the user.
Weapon Class Name: Vacuum
Color: Grey
Level 1
Big Blow: Works like Sonic Bomb, but instead of being thrown upwards, victims are thrown to the sides. Useful for knocking people into chasms
Level 2
Hyper Suck: Creates a vacuum that pulls the person ahead towards you. It's not homing.
Level 3
Tornado: Creates a vicious tornado that heads for the person in first place. It pulls in it's victims and when it reaches the leader everyone gets chucked in random directions. (I was also thinking that when it touches someone, they get instantly flung instead of being dragged around the track.)
Fire item on Road Trip was my idea, you heard it here first.

I remember getting some encouraging feedback, people like WhiteF8ng saying it was like a track UFG had made. Now back in the day that was actually considered a compliment, lol! These days it's one of the tracks I really wish I could unpublish and banish to the bin forever, but hotlap considers it far too "amazing" to let me do that!
Oh wait, I found it!
Had a lot of really useful feedback from that one AND it was my very first hotlap, during a double XP week as well. Getting to level 30 wasn't too difficult after that!
And I still like that track. There were so many creators back then that unpublished their tracks and you find out later in a casual that they have been republished/unpublished etc... Don't get me wrong, the track had it's downside but for the most part I could see myself racing it in an XP series.

My first post was in a topic called R.I.P. Originality:
"Here's something to consider -- when we create mods/karts, we're sharing them with other people. The people that download have to relate to them on some level in order to want to download them -- either they recognize the character and associate fond memories with them and or they think the mod is funny, cool, whatever. Then by extension those two people have made a connection based on similar interests or at least have a better understanding of the person. The thing about original creations is that they didn't exist prior to the game and therefore the relationship between the person and the peice of art is brand new; a person might either like the new thing, or not like it, or just be indifferent to it. People who really love a video game/TV/whatever series have seen tons of series that didn't interest them at all and it took years upon years for them to find the ones that they love the most.
So really, I'd say that it's not about originality in the end, but about how pre-existing concepts allow people to connect to one another easier then a new un-explored concept. The motto of "Play, create, share" could just as easily be "Play, create, connect".

Atheist, I think this was your first post:
I remember from back in the day (when you were just getting started), was your track not called Paradise something? Seems like a long time ago now!
Here was my first post (under my old PSN WilsonPhillips-X):
Complaining about the top-rated tracks, what else!

Haha, nice find! Yeah, back in the early days prop budget was a nightmare to keep under control, these days I know every trick in the book to maximise it, but back then I was this close to putting down the game for good! ![]()
