With only around 20 days until the Olympics remaining, atheistsw and I proudly present a track which we hope will go far.
A Brief History: In 2005, London won the bid to win the Olympic Games in 2012, in a final with Paris. Planning of the Stratford Area in London began, and many tumbledown Houses, Shops and Factories were demolished. Weeds were removed, and canals were cleaned. Then, in May 2008, the Construction for the Olympic Stadium began. The Stadium took the longest time to build. Eventually, as the stadiums were being finished off in 2011, more than 600 trees were planted into the banks of the river system that weaves its way through the park.
Now for some Pictures, and a quick-stop tour!:
Buckingham Palace, the Queen of England's London Residence.
The Houses of Parliament, where the Parliament of England battles out its inner-political wars.
The Velodrome of London 2012, also known as the Pringle because of the roof shape.
The Iconic Aquatics Centre of London 2012, with a roof designed to look like a wave.
A bridge crossing one of the park's rivers, with also a view of...
...The London 2012 Olympic Stadium, where you will either do the 400m or the 100m and Hammer Throw!
And finally on your return journey to the start, you will fly past the Orbit, a Freestanding Panoramic Restraunt/Viewing Platform.
A Brief Future: The London 2012 Olympic Games Opening Ceremony Starts at 20:12 GMT (Seriously, not Kidding) on the 27th of July 2012. By that time, you will have already downloaded this track, and will be enjoying the Best Olympic Game the World Has Ever Seen!
