From Modnation Monday blog, Hot Lap tracks May 12-13th:

Saturday: Camping school in summer by Std9325
Sunday: Kyronia City by prob_alex

How that could be a different track saturday n sunday ? How would you chose the best 5 times if it's not the same track sat. n sun. lol ?

There will be a UFG track for qualification. Mark just failed, simple as that.

Actuallly I think it would be awesome if 'Camping School in Summer' was used! It was totw, a great track from a creator that deserves more attention, very smooth, not too hard, 10x better that any old ufg track. Plus no one here has played it millions of times (I can count the amount of times I've played many ufg tracks on one or two hands), making it more equal for all. Ufg tracks, we can all agree, have been out classed by user created tracks (it is a fact, not an opinion), so why use a ufg track? Please post if you agree with me.

Camping School in Summer as the qualifier FTW!!!!!

definitely agreed, i'm bored of ufg tracks, hope it will be ok for Mark. Need to take that decision quickly :/

Totally agree, UFG tracks suck donkey danglers! :smileyvery-happy:

Re: Grand Prix 2012 Signups

Should those two tracks go up on the weekend it can still be done. But, everyone would have to run both days, and take combined times for those two tracks.

Rif.: Grand Prix 2012 Signups

@maverick: sounds totally legit and agreed. But somehow this will take more time and some troubles if: some with the great times of saturday (top 5) doesn't partecipate the sunday one. The idea is surely great but it has some bad cons for what i can imagine.

Racers will have the chance to qualify on a pre-determined UFG track to be hosted in Hot Lap all weekend. The top five fastest lap times (of those signed up) will automatically be entered into the finals.

I do think that it's a shame that Camping school in summer will be replaced from hot lap. It's a good track and hopefully will get another spot. But it's an even bigger shame if the GP rules are changed 2 days before the contest begins.

That same quote was in the blog where Mark published this week's (incorrect) hot lap track list. Thus the list was obviously a mistake.

If you want it to be glitched. Yea.

Also Fracture has that stupid ninja shortcut in the beginning. There is some big downside to nearly all UFG tracks :smileysad:
