Yep for sure we need those sign ups started up Mark so we know how many people are going to be in. Not sure if you saw my most recent idea Mark, but have a look, I think it makes more sense to take the top 5 Hot Lap times instead of top 6.
1st Week
Hot Lap - Top 5 times in Final, rest of times in Top 50 are slotted into qualifying, 5 groups of 9 people each
2nd Week
Winners of each qualifying group advance to Final, the people who finish 2nd and 3rd in each group could be put into the final for the other ten, basically those who podium from these qualifying groups would advance to a final series
Final Week
Main Final for top 10 and secondary final for the other 10
Doing this, it gives more people a chance at playing for something, and splits up the spots for qualifying from Hot Lap and races half and half. I can pair together groups for the qualifying races also if you want me to.
Level 4
Yeah at whatever point we start doing the races I'm thinking a time of like 7 PM EST might work best. It could be midnight or 1 AM in parts of Europe so it would probably make the most sense to hold the races on the weekend. That would end up being Sunday morning in Japan and Australia I believe. Hot Lap should be no problem for me to track though, basically you'll be able to run it both days if you want to improve, and I will take the best time of the two days.
