Inspired by the generalised art of Kokeshi, not from one particular doll. The third doll in my series!
Kokeshi are traditional wooden dolls from Japan painted in simplistic yet striking designs of many themes. They usually have very simplistic faces made from just one or two brush strokes. Artist, seen here has the most detailed face of my Kokeshi yet because, well, she's an artist!

That means, if the Mod/Kart you created is based on another persons creation, drawing, rendering, rendition or idea, it is NOT original, and therefore copyright protected. Just because you "created" the Mod/Kart, the original designer, artist, illistrator, animator or cartoonist owns the copyright to the material(s), image, likeness or idea.
IMHO, I do not think ANY licensed character should be allowed on the Top Mod/Kart spot as this is a violation of copyright to begin with. Odd how UFG will protect their copyrighted materials, characters, programming, code, etc., but freely allow users of their game to violate others' copyrights.
