I must forfeit. I will not be around for the second qualification round at all, and the other two weekends are very tight as well so I decided it's better just to quit now. Apparently I'm just not meant to race in these official races. And I was really looking forward to this.

On a related note, I might not be around much the next month and a half or so. But that doesn't mean I'm gone for good.

Yeah little slow at this point, at least a little slower than I expected anyway, the Grand Prix still hasn't been shown on the blog yet either so I expect some more traffic soon enough. Worst case scenario we just alter the plan a bit.

I encourage anyone to participate though, just because the first thing is Hot Lap doesn't mean anything, 75% of the spots for final races will be determined by regular races given we can do another final for 10 more people. And anything that can happen in an action race with ten people that are trying to win usually does happen. Hot Lap will be useful for possibly sliding in reserves in case people don't show as well. And could also be helpful for pairing up the qualifiers for balance.

If it doesn't go up next week then the Grand Prix should probably be pushed back a little. However maybe we should start taking recommendations from people, if they have friends that don't or can't check the forum, but want in the tourney.
