So, there is a massive issue with the servers right now, I tried FOUR times to connect to the modspot after booting up the game and it continued to hang at 71%. I then loaded up creation station and went back to the modspot from there and it did the same, BUT I left it a minute or so and it finally loaded the modspot but unconnected to the network. When I click connect I just get the "connecting" circle at the top of the screen, yet strangely I seem to be able to see the top mods/karts?

It does seem that it's only EU players affected though as I can see American and Japanese friends on my list in casual races... curse you SCEE, screwing us AGAIN!

My game hung at 71% yesterday. I waited about 5 minutes and finally got in to modspot, but I was not connected to server. I went to creation station and back and then I got connected. Weird bug has occurred lately, I'm in modspot and according to list there are players, but I can't see anybody.

Hardly a coincidence that Mark's departure as Community Manager coincides with this 'sudden' connection issue for EU players. Face it, Sony are doing what they do best and screwing players over, starting with the EU. They're shutting down more and more servers in an attempt to drive people away from the game and there is NOTHING anyone can do about it.

I'm glad I came here before uninstalling the game data, I can load career mode and the creation centre but I cant get in the modspot.

Its a server side problem, dunno if its a lack of servers though since you wuold still be able to get in at off peak times surely???

Anyway, I don't really care what the problem is, as long as it is fixed, rapidly!

Actually, I thought it was a coincidence, I'm never on at prime time and I can't get in. In fact, it seems to be a network issue, as even when I'm not playing MNR it sometimes drops...

It appears that North America isn't completely immune.

I am in Ontario, Canada.  After having no problems at all with connectivity the last couple of days, I'm not able to connect to the servers right now (5:30am my time / 10:30am uk time).

At best the modspot loads as far as displaying two of the three top mods on their podiums and then I get the disconnect message.

I can actually race now, I cant pick up weapons though, nor can I sideswipe anyone through the lag. Top karts dont load but the modspot seems stable, what is going on!?
