Yooooooooooooooooo... unfortunatly for you.. you have entered the forum after 2 years. this means the only people that really visit here are the regulars who have loved this game from the start. (me included)
im sure you can understand why people get frustrated. we all put in many many hours creating or racing. hoping that the hard work we put in, gets noticed..
but becuase of trophy hunters and d4ders many of the hard workers get lost.. creations end up having 5 Dl's Etc..
when boosters and d4ders get hundreds of downloads. when they havnt earnt it at all..
hope you can understand this..
p.s D4D is part of the game tho.. and really we are all used to it..

Why I only help people I know. Things are said, things are done, and in the end, we all regret it.
You shouldn't be sorry, you didn't know any better, but you can't just walk in to the forums and tell the hotlap leaders to slow down or not to play a day just so you can get a stupid trophy. I don't even have plat. and I'm not complaining. Neither should you.
People probably trophy hunt just to look good. This is wrong, as it just shows how much money you waste on games just so you can play em and ditch em. The only way to look good here, and probably anywhere else, is to do (play in this situation) it right. Not necessarily well, but at least right.

You still didn't get it. 
Most people left in this forum are the ones that don't care about trophies. They don't care if you got the trophy and they don't care if you'll get the other ones. Some of the "pros" that I have on my friends list don't have the plant for MNR and I believe they don't give a c***. They don't play for trophies, they play for the simple reason of having fun (isn't that the real reason for buying a game?).
Trophies are killing games and I wish they'd get banned from the next gen. Just for argument's sake, Nintendo doesn't have trophies and outsells by miles the two consoles that have (I know that there's the "Mario" factor, but anyways).
So, I'd say:
If you're going to continue playing to have fun with us remaining players, you're welcome here.
If you'll continue to play just to get your d*** trophies, just go spend some time on the Modspot. You know, D4D the s*** out of random creations and you'll end up getting your beloved trophies. If that's the case, just stay out of this forum please.

just wanted the platinum on this game because i enjoy getting platinums on games i like...as for the unjustified way of doing so the only way i can explain myself is that i know lbp karting is coming out and i didnt want to take the chance of the multi here to die before i got the my oppourtunity to plat. you guys are all right but some multiplayer dies out and i didnt want that to be the case
Even with LBP: Karting around the corner I don't think the multiplayer on this game will die out, a lot of my friends who I race with regularly as well as many people on these forums are in agreement that LBP:K looks like kiddie garbage in comparison and won't offer us anywhere near as much customization (particularly with karts and mods) as MNR.
So I think you're safe, welcome to the party!
