What do you guy think of using AI racers when you host a race? Do you use them or not? How many is too many if you do? Personaly I don't like them and leave if I go to a hosted race and see tons of AI slots. I can race against the computer any time but the reason I joined an online race to to race against other people. What do you think?

No AI if you ask me. AI players can behave erratically, mostly hitting those who are behind the pack already. And since they are rubbish on most tracks anyway there's no real point in having them block the road.

No Al because they prolly win in so many races with impossible laps. Generally no, they try to break the track, they're silly like pigeons following a nasty piece of bread and they're cold and emotionless.
And they can mostly shield your epic lv1 (or your sideswipes) taking out all the surprise effect

They kind of ruin the flow of the race sometimes on cutom tracks.
It's funny when an AI racer gets first or second, knowing how kinda terrible they are racing custom tracks. xD

I don't mind the AI in a race. Sometimes they help you discover "hidden" shortcuts. Usually there are at least 1 or 2 of them that are actually competitive. ( Sometimes too competetive, . . . . . but this should be looked at as a "challenge" )![]()
I really think that in a gameroom w/ less than 6 Racers, you should add them. It just makes the race more enjoyable w/ more competition and more weapons being launched, etc., etc..

Starting with Saeblass Canyon, I'm disabling AI in the Global Options in the Track Studio. They just sit on the sidelines. You can still sideswipe them.
The problem with AI is that they react badly to breadcrumbs, which many tracks now use.
Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but they aren't as ''hard'' as in Career Mode.
The only excuse to use AI is...OFF-line.
