Is this game working yet for any Verizon customers? Please answer yes or no.
If it IS working, please answer the following:
What is your internet plan (DSL, FIOS, speed)?
What router are you using?
Is the router Verizon supplied, or is it third party?
Is your PS3 DMZ, port forwarded, etc?
If we can collect enough info in this thread, we can forward it to the developers. Hopefully this info will help them to fix it for those of us who still can't connect.
One theory that I'm kicking around is that this game may use certain ports that Verizon automatically blocks.

Is this the reason why I can't go online when playing this game? Cause I have Verizon for my interent plan (DSL by the way) and I haven't been able stay online for more than 5 minutes. Now I can't even connect to the interent when playing this game.
My modem is Westell.

I have verizon too and the Westwell 7500 modem (supplied by verizon). is there a special reason they don't work with verizon? any other game works perfect but its just modnation.
I like your theory but I also don't have the knowledge of playing with ports and stuff. I know more than just to plug it in and watch it go but not super technical things. I really hope that the developers fix this ASAP because I beat career and if I can't get online this game will either be shelved or sold because its made for online play. I dont want to get rid of it but if it doesnt work i feel like im ripped off $60

Although I do not have Verizon, a buddy of mine does and he is continually having problems. We have tried various work-arounds and opening different ports....everything, and he still has a heck of a time.
I have not heard from him today, but I do know he was going to call Technical Support and see what may or may not be going on. As soon as I hear from him I will forward on any information he may have if the issue is correctable.

I got it to work on verizon with a verizon westell model 7500
A90-750015-07 rev. W firmware VER:5.01.00.02
Go to Advanced and then VPN uncheck IPSECpassthrough
Go to Universal Plug and Play enable it
Now go to firewall and choose no security.
Now it will work. NOTE that dmz will not help. It is a firewall issue. Im trying to forward the ports with no luck so far Ill let you know if I figure it out. So far its not a port issue but a firewall exception rule problem. This is also set with port forwarding.

That deserves a thread of its own.

I have verizon and never had a problem with this game.
I have DSL
I'm using Linksys router and its third party
Don't know what DMZ means so can't answer that

Yes its the router not the isp. Thank you for posting this because I also tried a verizon connection to find out.
Its router issue not the isp. The westell 7500 is the one I had problems with. Upnp is unavailable, DMZ wont work either. You can only get single ports to forward right or we have the wrong port info for the game is possible I guess.
Either way I too use a linksys and it works. Upnp is available in connection test is yours? If it is could you tell us the model of linksys. People need to know what works.
Mine is linksys befw11s4 older router. Upnp available. It is bridged to speedstream 4200 because that modem upnp unavailable.
