Modnation Racers issue with Alternate Routes in Create a Track

I posted this on another PSN forum 12 hours ago and got no reply, so I brought this here... When I'm creating my own track, no matter what I do, I can't get the alternate routes to work. When I go to create one, it tells me to touch the track start point, and no matter where I touch, nothing works. It doesn't seem to even know that I'm trying to start an alternate route. It just continuously flashes "Touch track start point." and does nothing beyond that. My game doesn't freeze, as I can just simply leave that tool and continue doing other things to my track. I've searched for a couple hours on Google and even Bing! search engines, and can not find an answer to this question, maybe I'm doing it wrong? How do I get this thing to work? I've watched all the tutorial videos and read all the info on how to create the routes, but what everyone else does to get them doesn't seem to work for me. I saw on a Youtube tutorial for track building that quite a few other people have been having this issue, I guess it's a bug and needs patched. Can someone help with this please?

Re: Modnation Racers issue with Alternate Routes in Create a Track

Well on PS3 you can only create an alternate route (a branch) if you have available track budget left, if you use up all your track budget on the main track then you can't place branches and so have to use breadcrumbs for alternate routes instead.

If it is maxed out, you can only place off road paths.
