Tried playing mnr today after applying the patch and it seems to have improved little if anything, whilst creating more crashes.

Starting an XP series... crashes, locking out my entire PS3...

Joining an XP series but clicking cancel before would just send you into the room as if you haven't clicked cancel (nice one) but now crashes, locking out the entire PS3. No doubt there's more major bugs like these, but I cba to sit here finding them as that what the dev team are being paid for so I'll just await a new patch.

This game is SO buggy for a console game.

Some guy was saying this in the modspot, before I got kicked out... again!

I am having no problems my end, but by the sounds of it some people clearly are.

I get joining XP series...

Starting new XP series...

Crash.

I can use the XMB though and quit game that way. I'm glad I came here before deleting the patch and reinstalling it. Back to track creation it is.

In other news, I was racing loco earlier (using the new invite thingy) and we had 12 players in an XP Series, also, I was absolutely pawned by him

getting disconnected every few minutes or everytime i go to upload or join friends and in modspot

Quite clearly from reading the posts so far there is an issue with this patch.

Good points after a series of races you remain in the gameroom,thats a good idea stead of going to modspot all the time.

Loading time have imroved a little.

However.......

The game is crashing, in the modspot (no i dont mean the disconnects from the server we all have)  I mean the screen locks up when trying to join a game and game is locked so the only way out is to shut the game entirely.

So wit all the other people having the same issues

1 What the solution

and

2 Do you need to fix the patch?

Either way there is an issue and its not my PS3 thats at fault,so i hope for a solution very quickly

I had a bit more success hitting start and joining races that way rather than drive to the online section and press square.

I only had two more series after trying this so its not a definite fix.

Online is still laggy though.

EDIT: I don' t actually like the fact that you remain in the gameroom, its quite annoying.

The problem everyone is experience regarding XP races was introduced in the title update today.  We have located the cause and have a fix for the issue.  I don't have specifics on a time table right now, the moment I do I'll make another post.
