Im hating this game, no respect to my HD space.

Well im seriously ***** at the moment, i got ModNation for my birthday last week. Ive only got a 40G PS3, I had to unistall borderlands, saints row2 just to accomodate the base install for this game, i have now spent the past 3 f'kin days trying to download the rediculous about of data you have as DLC? ***** are you doing? I had to delete another 2 games including GT5 to fit the next 2 updates on, ive still got 5 more to go and it says its only 5% done in total? I can handle a couple of hundred meg as an update but this has already got up to a GIG of extra content already and im not even half way, thats going to take me another week to download. Considering I have to unistall games every time i get new ones this is going to be rediculous.

I guess im never gonna be able to play online, cos im cancellilng this rubbish after the next update's done, i guess I will have to play with the network turned off from now on.

You could always upgrade your HD? 40GB doesnt last long these days.

Yeah, 40GB hard drives are just about worthless these days, best thing to do is upgrade your hard-drive, you can buy a 320GB that will slot straight into your PS3 for £50, dead easy to install, no more worrying about space then you can start enjoying the awesomeness that is Modnation Racers!

Hard drives are getting cheaper and cheaper. Once I saw my current one (A 250gb western digital scorpio) for $50 I just had to get it as I had only a few gb left on my 40. It doesn't take much but I'm sure you'll find with atleast a 250gb even you'll probably have more space than you'll need so a 320 would be more than enough it just depends how much you want to spend. I'd go as far as saying anything bigger than 320 may be wasting your money though unless you download A LOT and I mean A LOT of movies and such. I would though before just investing in a drive look around for the best rating by sites like cnet.com and such and don't just buy the first/cheapest one you see because there is a lot of junk out there. Your gamesaves/content rests on this drive don't cheap out I'd say the Seagates are probably the best bet but with any brand you still want to check the reviews of that model. I had a newer hard drive quit on me from Western Digital even though they are known for their reliability. This one was only a couple months old so I was able to use the warranty. AND YES sign up for the warranty as it saved me another $50.

Definitely recommend you upgrade. I went from an 80GB to a 320GB. Best decision I ever made.

this is the one i Bought, only £35 now. Just make sure you buy a 5400 speed and not faster for heat reasons.

Can you get me a link to that or tell me where you got it? I'm really low on space, not sure if I'll be able to get the next LBP patch with the move, and I want that.
