Hi there again,
After messing around a bit more with the SDK, I decided I wanted to import some of my own 3D assets
into my project, rotate them, and move them a bit. I did so by exporting my 3D model in 3D Studio Max 2013, to the FBX format, I then used the PSS Tools to convert the FBX file to MDX succesfully.
Now the craziest things are going on, as mentioned above, I wanted to rotate and move my model using the input buttons. But with just one simple 3D character imported, it ran at about....6/7 FPS, it rotated very nasty, and when using the input buttons, I had about 3 second input lag, whereafter the model didn't respond very smoothly either. So at first, I blamed the model, even though it wasn't an awefully complex one (800kb), so I created a small sphere model and exported it....it went a little bit smoother but it was still horrible (12/13 FPS), and thus I blamed the code.
I then opened the BasicModelSample provided by the SDK, and replaced the given model with my model, and the same problems occur, when I try to rotate or translate the model provided by the SDK (walker.mdx), things will go very smoothly, so the code isn't the problem either.
Which just makes me wonder, is it perhaps the converter? Or is there something I'm missing here, it's pretty frustrating and I'd really appreciate some help.
