The Problem with that is i have gotten use to my Poison Battle Axe and i would probably find it a problem getting use to a lance, Bow Gun May be usefull but which gun did u use cos i might try gunning as well.

if your after a good gun try making the maelstrom not overly powerfull but can fire almost all types of shells. its served me well in quite a few tough fights.

what you need to make it is:
5 Union Ore
5 Machalite Ore
5 Plesioth scales
4 Plesioth fins
Not sure if u can get the union ore yet. you get it from the second and 3rd upgrade to the mining spot on the farm.

Im doin good in this game ive just killed lao shan lung. but im stuck on the Wyverns of Land and Sky where you have to fight a rathlos and rathian in the great arena. 1 is gold and 1 is black this quest is stupidly hard theres no where to hide and they just keep comin at u it horrible. anyone who has done this quest can u help me

The Rathian is actualy Gold Hart and The Rathlos is silver soul and its just harsh being in with them 2, if i could give i a tip, i would get Silver Soul in a trap and put him to sleep with Sleep shots or somthing cos he will bust u up with his arial strikes.

tried that he doesnt stay asleep for long. gold heart has a habbit of wakin it up.
Lao is easy once you know how all you do is use a sword with a good thunder element like eager cleaver and keep smackin his head over and over till he dies i done it in about 40 mins. ive heard sum people have done it in 25-30 mins.

Im strugling on the guild quests as well i can do the urgent quest where i have to kill 2 diabalos i can kill one but i run out of time with the other. im trying to get a good water element weapon to kill them faster but most of them need monster bone+

u can get monsterbone+ quite easly from 4* Guild hall quests especilly Ku.t Ku quests.

You really need to have a variety of different weapons to do well in this game further on, i for instance have a Rathalos Firesword, Ancient Blade, Kirin Horn, Assasins Dagger, Silverfang Serpentblade, Venom Lance and a Tarnished Hammer...

Short Swords are decent enough, but against Grav you really need a lance

u can get monsterbone+ quite easly from 4* Guild hall quests especilly Ku.t Ku quests. 4*????? i heard to had to be HR3 or higher to get monster bone+ Oh for the grav i used my poison battle axe

if u upgrade ur assasins dagger to a Poison battle axe then that is amasing agenst K.uT ku, it my favroute wepon in the game.

PS. Ive just Managed to create a maelstrom without killing Plesioth.

No way. Im only on 1hr quests and ive got a pare of dual Tomahawks (which i hate and never use by the way) that need 8 of thoes fricking things. there hard to get though.
Catch the K.ut Ku and k.ut Ku arena are good quests 4 them.

My sis is playing this game at the mo'. I am on the jungle stage and i am still using my hunters knife. Is this a good idea?

If you can upgrade then do so, but aslong as ur not fighting a wyrevn then you should be fine, just watch out for the Genprey, Velociprey and especialy Ioprey. Imsurpised you havent got a better weppon by now so if u can do so.
