Oh no - hooked. Again.

I went on holiday recently, so go a lot of PSP time in. And despite having God of War: Ghost of Sparta to play (which rocks btw), I found MHFU getting way more play time. I managed to finally finish all village quests (except the final one Nekoht gives you when you clear the others).

I was hoping to use my Akantor bow to solo White Fatalis again, but just don't seem to be able to manage it. I'd also like to get to the new items in the guild - I'm currently only HR6.

So if anyone's up for some games over AdHoc party (once these pathetic denial-of-service attacks have finished) - add me, but put MH in the invite :smileywink:

Hope to poke things with sharp sticks with you soon!

Re: Oh no - hooked. Again.

I've been getting in some MHFU time in recently as well. Probably cause my brother has my copy of Tri and I was getting withdrawl symptoms despite not playing Tri for ages. I think it was a case of wanting whatI cant have lol.

I'd play with you on Ad-Hoc Party but I cant do it at the moment due to the fact that my PS3 is in the living room and the router is upstairs so cant use an ethernet cable. The way round I had was to use my laptop as a bridge for the connection which did work. However my laptop is currently FUBAR due to it having a corrupted windows explorer file due to a virus. I haven't got round to sorting that out yet. Need to fix it without formatting the hard drive because there are pictures on there that I need to keep.

If I ever get round to sorting it out then I'll message you.

Re: Oh no - hooked. Again.

Lol. I'm sure he does have a shiny hide.

My MHFU character is HR7 but his armour is a bit of a mix cause wasn't aiming for anything in particular and haven't farmed monsters for materials due to playing on my own for the most part. Just concentrated on clearing quests then not going back to them. Although I did make a lot of progress when I went to the gathering hall in London a couple of years ago. Which is how I unlocked the G-rank quests with the help of some HR9's.

Hopefully I'll get to sorting the laptop out next week at somepoint but got a lot of gardening to do that week due to the easter holidays and my wife being off and directing me with things to do lol.

I'd be up for this, but I haven't played it in ages, in fact, I haven't turned my PSP on in ages. I wonder if it still works?

Re: Oh no - hooked. Again.

LOL comedy deaths is par for the course. And patchy armour doesn't matter against Fatalis - one hit kills anyway :smileyhappy:

I don't want to give the impression that I'm just recruiting for Fata runs. I'm up for anything... If anyone wants to take their first steps into the online guild hall I'm just as keen. I just miss the online aspect of hunting, because it's just not the same playing solo.

Re: Oh no - hooked. Again.

Agreed online hunting is better than solo. When I get round to sorting out the laptop or I might just move the router downstairs for a day as it might be quicker than trying to sort my laptop out.

Just need to arrange a day/evening with the wife. As she always arranges things without me telling me lol.

I hate when they do that - I nipped that tendancy in the bud right quick. :smileyhappy:

Re: Oh no - hooked. Again.

Gonna set up my router downstairs on Thursday (21st) so will be available on Ad-Hoc Party from around 12 or 1ish. May have to do some gardening first though.
