Ok boo all you like but i am also a 360 fan and have just been on their forums.

I was shocked to read that today capcom announced Monster hunter frontier to be released on the 360 ....for now only in japan but theres hope that it will be released over here and a possibility that it will be released on the PS3.

For those of you not in the know MH frontier is the MMO Mh for the pc which i believe was only realeased over in japan i may be wrong.

Yeah just read this on cvg. I am shocked lol. But MH frontier was only released in Japan and South Korea I think. That was 3 years ago nearly when it first came out on the pc over there.

To be honest it's unlikely to be released over here. Although this may be the start of something good with a port of MH Tri coming to the PS3 and 360 in the near future at some point. We can only wait and see.

Saw the news on Kotaku. Not much of a shock or a surprise.
Don't even know if it will be released here or the states. The PC game never even reached to the western shores. :s

OH MY GOD!

I never knew there was an MMO of Monster Hunter. Europe SO needs to get onboard with that. Looks like you can still only have 4 in a party though. The bigger the party means room for bigger Monsters hehe. Anyway, MMO Monster Hunter = WANT!

they already said they abandoned making a version for the ps3 as it's too expensive to develop thats why tri is going to the wii, it was intended for ps3 first but was droped. but i really do hope they release frontier on the 360 for eu/us that would be awesome to get a chance to play the mmo

When they dropped the PS3 version that was before Capcom announced that the majority of their games would be released multi-platform from then on. As development had already shifted to the Wii they decided not to make a PS3 version. If they decided to make it after that announcement then it probably would be on the PS3 as well as on the 360.

I'll be getting the Wii version anyway and if this is released in the EU then I'll get this too. I've got every MH game that's been released over here so far and will get all the games in the future, I really love these games.

yeah i really love mosnter hunter it's a great game i will be getting the WII version with a classic controller i think mh would be quite anonying ot play with the motion control

Today the PS3 is doing better than the Wii in Japan so why announce a Monster Hunter for the 360?

MH tri is brillant but with a strange disappearance on playstation 3 it all seems to fishy and maybe linked to microsofts latest attempts to sell in Japan.

Personally i think capcom have looked at the western market and realised there are more 360`s than ps3`s out there and realised there more people to possibly buy frontier. i can see in a while frontier being announced for the PS3 ill get it for the 360 to see what the community is like but if its rubbish ill wait for a PS3 version to appear

I think it just boils down to money. Frontier already exists on PC, probably using DirectX, so it's much cheaper and easier to port to XBox than PS3. If Sony had any sense, they would offer to do the port in exchange for exclusivity, as this franchise is huge over there and will shift hardware. It's basically a huge blow to Sony on their home turf.
