Hello theres just a little problem with having the boost set to infinite for custom games i thought i'd bring up.
It rarely lets anybody Select respawn particularly when your going head on to a wall or object at a speed not fast enough to wreck and you'll find yourself stuck boosting into the wall for a good 15 seconds.

In regards to your original post, I know it sounds ridiculous but if your having trouble hitting select (because it wont go slow enough).......
As you have infinte boost just smash yourself into the wall. Should be quicker.
Thats probably the worst advice ever given for this game............
Just remember to ignore it in a standard room. Quickly identifiable by the fact you will overboost ![]()

Here's the thing, if you hit a wall slow enough you get stuck and can't do anything.
Thats the point.

Not sure if it makes you feel any better, but there have always been those sort of glitches around. I've run into spots on both of Suburban Shakedown and Buena Vista where I'm forced to reset to track, just to immediately be placed in the same position as before the reset, and need to reset again. After 5 or 6 attempts, it kinda loses its novelty, and you either need to wait the race out or disconnect.
The correct answer to my problem, of course, is not to drive like a numpty in the first place.
Given that constant boost is just a novelty which gets old after three or four races, I'd rather suspect your issue won't get the attention needed to get it fixed
