for MOTORSTORM : APOCALYPSE(BCES00484) when i put the disc in and connected to the internet an update comes onto the screen saying VERSION 1.03, so i start download and after it has downloaded it and it goes to the install screen it gets about 17% into it then stops saying ' an error has occured' 'File may be corrupt'...

And thats it i dont know how to fix it and i really want to play online but i cant get past this point...

Is it possible to get the download update from the net on my comp and just save it to usb and install it to the ps3?

try deleting the game data utility on your harddrive (the option at the top of the game list on the xmb, not the savedata option)

Oh its ok i fixed it.. turns out i think... the only thing i did differently after the 4th go.. was to take the disk out and clean it very well then try again and it worked!!!
