I tried to play MS:A today, and I could not play online. I could not do the weekly challenges either. I tried playing as player number 2, but everytime we searched for a game I got an error message saying someone was already on with my username. What the heck is up??? 

After already getting kicked off so many times in the last few weeks, I am absolutely getting fed up with this game. I love it, but how on earth can I keep playing something with this many problems?!?

Your not the only one. I can't play online either and I can't play the special events I bought on PSN either.

Whats worse is we are left in the dark about it. No announcement that servers are having maintanence or that there is some problems and they are trying to fix them. Its BS and because it came with PS Plus I feel we don't have the right to complain about it and Sony doesn't have to fix it which is actually turning me off this whole free retail games every month. Whats the point in having games you can't play fully.

Same here normally never have problems connecting to game servers. 

PS3 is wired and in the routers DMZ also tried toggling UPnP on/off and media server connection disabled. 

Score leaderboard updates were working yesterday but today nothing seems the servers are off. Tried connecting to multiplayer just keeps hanging.

Same here. I can only really play at night during the week. On the weekends forget it.

I have posted in the the technical help boards about the server problems and linked this topic. 

Hoping we'll get some feedback about the virtually non-existent servers.

If you replace "Apocalypse" with "Pacific Rift" you will find the exact same messages in the forum from a couple of years ago. Pacific Rift online was the worst joke ever. I am not touching anything with Motorstorm written on it ever since.

I can confirm that the Motorstorm servers have been suffering from Technical problems for the last few days.

They are working to resolve this as soon as possible.
