not a bad idea exept then it wouldn't be "pacific" rift:smileywink:, but i catch your drift. it would be a good mix of PR and AE:smileyhappy:
and hopefully some much more improved servers this time :smileyfrustrated:

As long as they are no incredibly stupid online unlocks this time, and we have the Pacific Rift style offline multiplayer, I really don't mind :smileyindifferent:

Too many games do that, and it would require fine tuning of each individual vehicle, and there would be next to no damage modelling on them.

I'd much rather revert to the vehicle classes of Pacific Rift/Artic Edge. The vehicle classes in Apocalypse were too spread out, not fully fleshed out, and unnecessary. Adding real manufacturers vehicles into it would only cause more hassle.

As DLC it would do fine, but as a base game, don't waste time on something trivial like that.

i really enjoyed Motorstorm Pacific Rift and Motorstorm Apocalypse so a mix of those two games with some cool new locations to race in would be real nice, and make it a launch title for the PS4 so i have a reason to throw my money at you :smileyhappy:

One of my Ideas is that it could be called something ling Motorstorm In time, the Story could be that you are a rookie Motorstormer,  sometime in the future, but after reading/learning/hearing about the history of the old days, would have loved to have raced back in the day, but first you have to prove your self on some future tracks, possible on other planets, with some new futuristic vehicles, then as you progress, you get the opportunity to be able to go back in time and race on those old tracks and with all the vehicles from the past games.

 

other ideas are:

 

- Ability to customise vehicles, like in MSA, possibly include more options

- Ability to customise your drive/rider, (clothes, hair style/colour, body type, skin colour, tattoos, piercing, face, eyes lips etc)

- Earn points through drifting, air, wreaking, opponents beaten like in  MSA, except be able to earn them no matter what event/style of race, offline or online, to unlock content and gain levels, so  at least this way if the servers are down or closes you can still unlock items and gain levels

- Events/incidents/weather effects on all tracks that could be enable/disable

- Dirt/mud/water etc effects

- More realistic damage modeling

- Replay, video record and photo taking options for both in racing(online/offline, all racing modes) and replay, as well as in customising areas

- Track/map editor

- Vehicle creator : Create vehicles using body styles and parts unlocked

not a bad idea at all a scifi Motorstorm is stil a Motorstorm (i presume that vehicles in the future also has Motors/engines :smileywink:)
and the more costumizable aproach would be much loved from here.
although a track creater is not neccesary it would be a awsome addition too, if it was well  implemented.

lets see what Evo has in the Bag for us in the next couple of years :xLol:
maybe they are making a new IP? who knows, it might not even be a racing game...:Raspberry:

I'd love to have Sci-Fi MS with current vehicles. Just imagine racing in space on track made after 2 space ships (prefferably one of them carrying sand/gravel and second with water) collided! 2 different constructions mashed and twisted together into pretzel, sand and water creating changing track alongside inside ships, racing on fallen metal sheets, driving on glass (or space equivalent) with nothing but space underneath, rigs falling through it into space. Oh boy.
Okay, second track: tiny asteroid with artificial gravity field. It's circumference would be around 2-3km so you can have a linear track with laps. Obviously, it'd involve more vertical than horizontal racing. Imagine rigs flying around from one platform into another smashing some poor buggy into the ground mask-first.

Sadly I'm 100 years too early to even think about playing such game.
