The eurogamer review reads like a 9/10 review lol Good to see the gameplay being applauded as thats the key aspect of any game after all. Shame about the Mode editor needing to be tweaked first before releasing it, but at least its coming eventually (not that id have time for it straight away with all the racing to do lol) anyone got a solid release date for this? I keep getting conflicting dates everywhere
The Tarantino-style eyeball cutscene made me puke. Shouldn't those video have an age verification check in place? (not that it means anything but at least to comply with the law in some countries).
I am still trying to understand if the game still demotes in case of server disconnection during a race....

you cannot be "demoted" online anymore
however with this new betting malarkey your streak can carry over,with the more successful bets you have, but if you get disconnected from the server you will lose your entire streak. ive already lost about 200000xp (quite a lot) as the servers arent ready yet and can disconnect anytime (ive a review copy before people start asking)
also before people get alarmed with server issues i got a note with the game saying the retail version has better support and there should be a patch launch day to further improve server and gui conections, or summat like that
anyway, the games great, serious longevity in the online mode, my quibbles are that a few music tracks could have supported the frankly epic as it is soundtrack, and unless the retail version is different there should have been a "classic" intro. i know the guy with the voice has passed on but the guy from arctic edge was alright by me. maybe one could be patched along with the mode creator?

Here we go again... Server disconnections with massive consequences but they are thinking about a patch to improve things.... I think I have heard all this before!
